We propose a new diagnostic and therapeutic approach for the popliteal artery entrapment syndrome. We insist on the active and repetitive clinical manoeuvre and on the functional vascular investigations before diagnosis. We define the requisite conditions which lead towards surgical treatment. In case of medical treatment, we correct every aggravating factor and work out a personalized kinesitherapy.
