This video aims to provide parents and their children arriving at the unit with simple and precise information to help them to understand and cope with the stages of intensive chemotherapy and the adjuvant treatment (surgery, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, and others). Practical advice is given to limit problems linked to the reduction in blood platelets and red and white blood cells in order to maintain the quality of life for the child. Information on the examinations carried out is also provided to allow parents to cope with the distress caused by new situations and to prepare their children for future events.
