Notre corps" (our Body) is a video tape learning tool for health education meant for the educable mentally retarded. The objective is to teach basic anatomy and how the body works, what does a muscle need to react to, how are food and oxygen used, how are wastes eliminated... The learning package uses a mixture of dramatic action and cartoons which try to bridge the gap with the learner's reality. The programme is structured in several segments : it is highly recommended to use the video tape in the suggested order. Each segment uses interactions between teacher and learner as well as other learning aids.
