In Belgium, the incidence of Crohn's disease is around 5,5/100 000 inhabitants. The disease is most frequent in young adults. After an overview of the current knowledge on the pathophysiology of the disease, this film recalls the variable and often misleading presentation and tackles the diagnostic procedure.
