The programme takes the viewer through the stages of gynaecological examination. Starting with advice on preparing the patient, the programme continues with demonstrations of abdominal palpation, vaginal examination with Cuscoe's speculum, vaginal swabs and cervical smears, bimanual palpation and the use of Sim's speculum.
