The tortoise, cousin of snake, crocodile and lizard, came into existence at the same time as the dinosaurs. More than 200 million years of evolution later, nowadays, the tortoise is still armed with its shell. It beats silently all records of longevity among the vertebrates.
Our peaceful reptile conquered one third of the oceans and half of the emerged land. Fred, Jamy and Sabine discover with us the universe of these impressive, old ladies with shells between Guyana and Corsica.
