Kohler's film is about thirteen men at the gateway to the Sahara, who explore their masculine identity and freely share their concerns during a two-week trek on foot through the desert. "Desert Wind" reveals how those men view family, how they see themselves as fathers, their relationships with women, and open up on sexuality, power, aggressiveness, performance ... Revelations that will also affect women and will give them the opportunity to discover what few men reveal spontaneously.
