Some babies have trouble sleeping and disrupt their entire family's rhythm. Or could it be the other way round... It's normally nothing to be too worried about, the reasons are clear, however we should all take a look at ourselves when it comes to this noisy unrest. While observing the work of psychologist Lyliane Nemet Pier who sees Parisian parents and children in her practice, Doctors Mariejo Challman and Patricia Franco (paediatricians), specialists from the sleep centre at De Brousse hospital in Lyon, as well as children, parents and staff from a crèche in the 11th arrondissement in Paris, we soon begin to understand more about what goes on during these sleepless periods. The film paints a picture of the mysterious and fragile world of little ones asleep. Through its prism, we provide a host of answers for exhausted and sceptical parents who live the repeated nightmare of trouble getting to sleep and interrupted nights.
