People Management: The Legal Framework 2009 is a pack consisting of an interactive DVD and reference books that are used in management training by the Irish health care service (HSE). The pack helps equip line mangers with the skills to ensure the smooth running of their departments as well as advising on how to deal with problems they may encounter. The pack is divided into seven modules that can be navigated in either an instructional setting or self-paced with voice over accompaniment to be viewed at the participant's leisure.

Each module consists of a series of slides with video and text case studies throughout to help illustrate points made in the module. The video case studies are dramatised re-enactments of real-world situations that have proven very popular with the target audience because they bring the course content to life. Active learning is encouraged by the use of questions.
