There are two of them and they resemble one another
they don't look at each other
they take one another's photograph
they hold hands
they travel by train
or pass through the window
to walk in a cartoon
a balancing-act
they sing
they make the world anew with scissors.
For me autistics occupy a place in our society somewhat similar of monks : they are people who have withdrawn from the general movement, who often repeat only one thing, throughout their life. They are like a breath, an alternative to our way of life orientated to more and more experiences or the quest of success. Unconsciously, they testify to an other way of being, essential of the balance of the world : some produce, others consume, but others again exist in their singularity, and just that is beautiful.
I propose a personal vision of autism, in five fragments-chapters-sequences.
