100,000 people have been or will be killed in France by 2025 by a disease whose sufferers take eighteen months to die in atrocious suffering: mesothelioma. This type of lung cancer is not due to chance or fatality: it has affected these 100,000 people because a system in place, for decades, put the priority on profitability instead of health; because all those who knew the effects allowed, in full knowledge and for years on end, men and women to breath in something that would inevitably kill them: asbestos fibres.
