At the turn of the century, there are still plants unknown to science. We must seek these endemic species, very far into the forest or the sea. They are still partly in lost areas of the Pacific Islands. Scientists search for them because they think that these plants will help to cure us.
A team of scientists from the ORSTOM went to Vanuatu in the Pacific. It was in these unknown areas, that they had uncovered plants. The aboriginals know most of these plants. They know they have the power to cure and scientists believe they can use those plants to create new drugs.
