Kimveer Gill, Marc Lépine, Cho Seng Hui: mad killers or victims of society? The dramatic events they caused were broadcast around the world. Do these images shown by the media mean that all people suffering from mental health problems are just as blood-thirsty and violent as in horror films? With the testimonials from Doctors Gilles Chamberland and Jean-Luc Dubreucq from the Philippe Pinel Institute, from the controversial Doctor Pierre Mailloux, as well as journalists Alain Gravel and Yannick Villedieu from Radio Canada, young film-makers from Quebec suffering from schizophrenia made this documentary as part of a return to work project, to debunk prejudices and to take stock of violence perpetrated by schizophrenics.
