Department of Gracias a Dios, Moskitia Region, Honduras. Children death rate is among the highest in Latin America...
Mothers. Women who are locked in an ancestral dimension: they have to give birth to be accepted by the society.
Elena, no longer able to feedbreast her child, Segundino, who is undernourished at as early as one month of age. Margarita, a colombian doctor who desperately tries to put up a dialogue with her patients. Brijilia, an old sorcerer who at a certain point of her life discovered God. Selina, a 14-year-old girl who lives in a 3-wall stilt house. She is pregnant and has absolutely nothing. Selina might as well cry, but she sweats instead. And then Lesbia, the main character. She is 27 years of age. She is HIV-positive. Lesbia has suffered a lot, but she has God at her side, and that’s all she needs.
