The Irish cancer society has been the main funder of cancer research in Ireland since its inception in 1963, when of course only tiny sums of money were available to spend on cancer research. In more recent years, The Irish Cancer society has provided funding for ground breaking research here in Ireland, which has been recognised world wide. This video, produced on behalf of the Irish Cancer Society by Agtel, aimed to  highlight the work being carried out by research Fellows and Scholars in Ireland which was funded by the Irish Cancer Society.
