In the heart of this documentary, a fundamental question: how the chemicals which contaminate our food chain are they tested, estimated, then done regulate?
This is the question which “Our daily poison” sets out to answer, on the basis of a two-year investigation in North America, Asia and Europe. Drawing on numerous scientific studies, and on interviews with representatives of regulatory agencies – such as the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) – , the film shows that the main cause of the epidemic is environmental: it is the result of the 100,000 chemical molecules which have invaded our environment, and primarily our food, since the end of the Second World War.
