“Journey to the Centre of Life” is a scientific tale produced in 3-D, using state-of-the-art medical photography captions. Jules Verne’s characters are scaled down to the size of a bacterium and, on board the Nanotilus, travel through the human body.

Thanks to the outstanding progress of biomedical imagery, the human body has become almost "transparent". Seeing through the living body is a common practice in the everyday work of physicians and surgeons.
