“Journey to the Centre of Life” is a scientific tale produced in 3-D, using state-of-the-art medical photography captions. Jules Verne’s characters are scaled down to the size of a bacterium and, on board the Nanotilus, travel through the human body.
Thanks to the outstanding progress of biomedical imagery, the human body has become almost "transparent". Seeing through the living body is a common practice in the everyday work of physicians and surgeons. For the very first time, those unique images are taking an active part in a film, a witty fantasy aimed at a large audience.
"Your hand... Turn your wrist... Now take your pulse...like this. Can you feel it ? I can see you...see through you, at this very moment."
