The film reveals how a person amputated, dislocated by hip, is able, in paraglider, to be completely autonomous in the preparation of the sail on the soil, its control during the stage of impulsion and of inflation, the management of the rise of the sail and its catch of impulse.This film also shows the help which it is necessary to bring to this person to give him of the speed. And to end, this one finds the self-government for theft, touchdown and folding of the sail.

The practice of sports has always been possible for a tibial amputee with a prosthesis. Thanks to new prosthesis techniques and the use of new materials the prothesis-equipped amputee practicing a sport will be able to feel more comfortable in his prothesis, to increase his safety and improve his sporting performance. Thanks to the help of tibial amputees, all of them high performers, we were given the opportunity, during the preparation of the 1992 Paraolympic Winter Games, to test, adapt and improve the applications of these new techniques.
