In a remote village, the young women sell their products to travellers. Through this contact, bonds form and friendships are born, leading to closer contact. One of these women, an apple seller, soon falls in love with an HIV+ driver who infects her with the disease. The consequences of these encounters bring tragedy to the village. Dijm, a young (HIV+) student on holiday at his parents' place in the village becomes close to Mandé. A string of events soon unfold, with Dénéram, the young wife of the local leader, falling in love with the young student.
