Aging frightens us. But beyond appearances, does old age merely represent the end of life? Can aging be seen as a new departure? While our bodies become weaker, growing old can bring a greater sensitivity and awaken new sensations. Revealed in simple moments, aging highlights the fragility of physical existence, but also the intensity of the present moment. All over eighty, the characters strive to adapt to their physical limitations and to accept their changing desires and expectations.

When a daughter becomes a mother towards her own mother, she experiences mixed feelings and confusion in terms of their roles because, even if she is fragile and vulnerable, the mother holds on to her protective role.
Kohler's film is about thirteen men at the gateway to the Sahara, who explore their masculine identity and freely share their concerns during a two-week trek on foot through the desert. "Desert Wind" reveals how those men view family, how they see themselves as fathers, their relationships with women, and open up on sexuality, power, aggressiveness, performance ... For several years now in France, doctors have been addressing the subject of pain, a subject for a long time shrugged off, but a subject now at the centre of an increasing number of conferences. Attitudes and mentalities change, however there are several types of pain and some simply cannot be treated. It is the human and psychological reality of pain that the film by Caroline Philibert sets out to show: on one side, the nameless suffering of the patient, on the other, the fears and denial it provokes in those nearby, whether family, medical staff or professional associates.
From an early age, Taliya Finkel was told that her uncle Sterik had been a KGB agent. Her father Shmuel was convinced of this. He and his brother immigrated from the Ukraine to Israel in the 1970s. Shmuel preceded Sterik, who was in prison in the Ukraine at the time. According to Shmuel, his brother was murdered in prison and replaced by a secret agent of the former USSR. No one believed Shmuel, and Sterik refused to take a DNA test. In 1999, while his daughter was filming him intensively, Shmuel revealed that he was afraid that his fake brother was going to murder him.

A voice can be transformed, and evolves with us during our life. Like a musical instrument, it allows us not only to communicate, but also to be recongnized and identified. Some people suffer from having a voice which is unappropriate to the physical appearance, but fortunately this kind of problems can be solved. What about nice and gentle voices ? Are they always linked to nice and gentles physical appearences ?

Movie intended to restore the contact with young people in danger, so that they can put their situation in parallel with those of the movie, thus allowing to compare and react with doctors and psychologists.
